Volunteer Opportunities Volunteer firefighting is a very rewarding and valuable way to serve your community. It takes dedication and many hours of training to become a firefighter. If you're willing to put in the time and effort, our department is ready for you to serve! Please be aware that in order to be eligible for a volunteer firefighter position, you must live within Marshall Township. You may contact us at marshalltwp6@aol.com for specific information regarding township boundaries. Minimum Requirements: 1. State of Indiana Driver's License Please complete an application (based on your computer needs) to the right. Return your completed application either by mail or in person to: Marshall Twp. Volunteer Fire & EMS Once you have returned your application, a background investigation will be conducted. The members of Marshall Township Volunteer Fire and EMS Department will vote on your membership based on your background investigation, personal knowledge, and application information. You will be invited to attend the business meeting in which the vote takes place. Business Meetings are held at 7PM on the first Tuesday of every month at Marshall Township Volunteer Fire and EMS Department.
